Creative Works by Dr. David Walls-Kaufman, DC
I am Dr. David Walls-Kaufman. I am a chiropractor who, in chiropractic school, developed a strong suspicion that holistic health concepts on thriving might integrate with the deeper meaning and function of human existence, i.e., The Theory of Everything.
The pair of ideas seemed a natural and perhaps inevitable fit. Like John Haidt, I believe an innate set of huma ethics exists, probably starting with Balance. I choose to take a new view where the ToE centers on human quality of life. This makes sense because I propose that biological determinism fixes on physiological, intellectual and creative thriving—we cannot live any way we like and thrive. Real thriving requires knowledge and focus.
I also believe the social requirements for thriving extrapolate for any living creatures across the cosmos. I argue this because living things anywhere would always face the same fundamental social advantages of strength in numbers, cooperation over conflict, to then decide what is the most interesting, rewarding and safe pursuit from the stable social platform. I argue here that these choices and options form an inevitable closed circuit. All of my interests seem to contribute enough to this theory that I include them on this website so that anyone interested can follow my events. This synopsis on the ToE is the product of many years.
I have a booklet coming out on the ToE, with books to follow, and I am the author of two novels and a number of award-winning short stories. I have written articles on politics, ethics, Tai Chi and joint pain prevention. My articles have appeared in the Washington Post, American Thinker, Flopping Aces. I have NIH certification in huma health outcomes research and I have participated in research projects.
