6/24/25 Reply to Bisset at London WaPo

Today, June 24, 2025, a Ms. Victoria Bisset, from the London Washington Post, contacted my lawyer, Hughie Hunt, for court records and any comment. Later, at 2:27pm, Aimee Ortiz, from the New York Times asked for comment. I sent Ms. Ortiz what I sent Ms. Bisset:
Dear Ms. Victoria Bisset –
Yes, I would like to respond. My sister, Sarah Kaufman, is a Pulitzer winner formerly at the Washington Post, and my uncle, Larry Merchant, was an internationally famous sports broadcaster and author of numerous books, and my step father, Richard Kaufman, was considered on of the 10 most influential men on Capitol Hill, and the right hand man of William Proxmire and helped “Prox” each year decide on his famous Pentagon contractor “Golden Fleece Award.” My father, Jim Walls, was a beloved restaurateur in Austin, Texas who once ran as a Democrat for congress, and folklore says he would have won had he decided to run earlier than two weeks before Election Day.
No one has asked me who I voted for, because it would have been “prejudicial,” and I was a registered independent.
I have waited five years while my name has been dragged through infamy for a crime I simply did not commit – as vide evidence proves. It is profoundly shocking to receive a blow like this where your peers, fellow human beings, choose to align in a mindset that does not care what reality is – and are even proud of it.
In order not to prejudice a jury, I have quietly taken this impugning of my character and name for four years. My discretion has seemed to satisfy not a single point – due, apparently, to this curious collective state of mind, for some of us.
The following is a blog from yesterday on my website theoryofeverythingdrdavid.com where I will mollify myself with thoughts from time to time in light of the weight of this shocking blow to my faith in the society of some.
Take of it what you will. I have no faith you will use any of it except to twist it in order to somehow make me look worse. I will post this letter to you as a running record of all interactions I have with anyone on this matter.
Sincerely,
Dr. David Walls-Kaufman
My blog from yesterday:

Today, after four years of being called a cop killer by the attorney for Erin Smith, David Webber, I had my “day in court.” For those four years, I had looked forward to finally giving my side of the story—along with the five streams of video that exonerated me of all charges. In 2023, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey A. Kiok had shown these . . .
